RTX is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for the Hot Section Engineering team. The role focuses on turbine module design, analysis, and sustainment, leading a cross-functional IPT including project, structures, and aero-thermal disciplines.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive technical direction for outsourcing, and promote digital tools and best practices in a high‑performance environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5 years engineering experience or 3 years with an Advanced Degree.
• 3 years experience with hardware, blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing methods.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access program information.

Mansioni

• Lead turbine module design, analysis, and sustainment with IPT guidance.
• Provide technical direction for turbine hardware outsourcing activities.
• Collaborate with CTS, MRO‑E, and field teams to interpret data and investigate issues.
• Support operations with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
