Job summary
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a seasoned Turbine Powerplant Lead Technician to support turbine engine and APU maintenance for world-class aircraft in Opa Locka, FL. You will lead inspections, coordinate installations, and verify airworthiness through tests in a fast-paced shop.
FAA A&P certificate and 8+ years' turbine engine experience are required; Bombardier experience is a plus. Excellent safety and quality focus expected. The role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- 8+ years of turbine engine line or shop maintenance experience.
- 2+ years supporting corporate jet aircraft.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance records.
Responsibilities
- Lead inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of turbine engines and APUs.
- Install, remove, and modify engines, APUs, systems, and components.
- Perform borescope inspections and maintenance reporting.
- Ensure airworthiness through functional tests and regulatory compliance.
- Support with ground support equipment as needed and maintain a safe work area.
