Job summary

PSA Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to coordinate the maintenance department's activities and direct maintenance personnel to minimize delays while boosting production and efficiency.

The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, 1 year of turbine aircraft experience, and the ability to train and guide the team. You will ensure safe, compliant operations and maintain accurate work records in a professional setting.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification required.
• One year of experience on turbine powered aircraft (MGTOW 12,500 lbs) or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and manuals (GMM, AMM, FIM, wiring diagrams).
• Run Taxi/Qualified within 120 days; AMA if applicable.
• Proficient with calibrated test equipment.
• In good standing (no STEP 1 violations).
• PSA indoctrination training completed or willing to complete.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Airworthiness Release Qualified within 90 days.
• U.S. Passport or work authorization within 90 days.
• Ability to speak/read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, layouts and coordinates the activities of the Maintenance Department to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.
• Leads a working maintenance group and is directly responsible to the Supervisor of Maintenance.
• Will not lead more than 18 employees.
• Trains and assists subordinates in proper procedures and practices.
• Maintains work areas, equipment and materials in safe, clean, and operable condition.
• Ensures proper execution of work records by the responsible mechanic.
• Coordinates between maintenance personnel and the Inspection Department.
• Delegates duties while retaining overall responsibility.
• Supports Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
