Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead Turbine Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and testing of turbine components, including blades and vanes, with a focus on advanced cooling schemes and AI-assisted workflows.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with global teams, and present technical results to senior stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of turbine component design and analysis experience; PhD adds 6+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline engineering tasks for turbine components design, development, and testing.
• Develop innovative turbine cooling concepts to reduce cooling flow while ensuring durability.
• Drive design system improvements via lessons learned, benchmarking, and cost reduction.
• Lead engine test activities for turbine components validation and qualification.
• Contribute to Physics-AI models and surrogate models to accelerate CFD and thermal analyses.
• Collaborate with global engineers and product chiefs to support growth engines and fielded engines.
