pbpnation in Mayetta, KS is seeking a Victim Services Coordinator to provide immediate and ongoing assistance to Native American victims of crime, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and elder abuse in the Northeast Kansas area.

You will conduct phone and in-person assessments, provide referrals and case management, and advocate through the criminal justice process, while helping plan educational and outreach events.

Qualifications

• Driving: Valid Kansas driver\'s license, insurable with Nation\'s insurance.
• Experience: 2 years in victim services or 4 years in psychology, criminal justice, social work, or related field.
• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice or related field and 4 years verifiable experience.

Offering rate will vary within the listed hourly range above. *Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education*

Role:

Provides immediate and on-going assistance to Native American victims of crime including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and elder abuse in the Northeast Kansas area. Conducts phone and in-person assessments, provides referrals and case management services to victims; advocates through support, information and assistance to victims as their case moves through the criminal justice process and beyond; assists with planning and carrying out educational and outreach events; develops, maintains and works cooperatively within the program, department, community, Nation and service area to reduce the impact of domestic violence in tribal communities and to improve tribal and non-tribal systems and agency responses to victims of crime.

Minimum Requirements:
