Job summary

Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation in Mayetta, Kansas is seeking a Tribal Victim Services (TVS) Specialist to provide immediate and ongoing assistance to Native American victims of crime in the Northeast Kansas area, including referrals and case management as cases move through the criminal process.

You will advocate through support, information and assistance to victims, helping them identify needs and navigate services within the Tribal Victim Services program to ensure safety and access to

Qualifications

Must have driving privileges and a valid Kansas driver's license.
Minimum 1 year of related advocacy or case management experience.
Education may substitute for experience in some cases.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate and ongoing assistance to Native American victims of crime in NE Kansas.
Offer referrals and case management as cases move through the justice process.
Advocate through support, information and assistance to victims, identifying their needs.
