Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking a highly experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join our Boston office. This role targets a seasoned litigator with 7+ years of insurance defense experience, capable of handling a substantial bodily injury caseload and serving as a key contributor within our legal team.

The Senior Attorney will represent civil defendants across Massachusetts, with primary venues in Middlesex, Suffolk, Essex, and Norfolk counties, handling a high-volume, complex caseload in both

Competenze

• JD from an accredited law school and MA bar license.
• 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong leadership, judgment, and strategic thinking.

Mansioni

• Manage complex lawsuits referred from Claims; draft answers and motions.
• Lead trial attorney on matters with exposure and complexity.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients at court conferences, arbitrations, motions, trials.
• Build relationships with clients, claims professionals, and internal legal team.
• Provide strategic legal advice on liability, damages, risk exposure.
• Exercise independent judgment in file handling and keep Legal Management informed.
• Maintain proficiency in paperless environment and virtual proceedings.
