Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience in an industrial or plant environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and handle chemicals, heavy equipment, and heights.
• Comfort with hazardous materials and basic maintenance skills.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping abilities.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and physicals.
• Preferred: experience with pressure vessels, boilers, preservative chemicals, wastewater sampling, and EPA/Hazardous Waste regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to treaters and team members.
• Coordinate with supervisors on scheduling, operations, and quality control.
• Operate and control boilers, pressure vessels, pumps, and hazardous waste equipment per procedures.
• Manage preservative inventory, sampling, testing, and chemical handling.
• Maintain documentation of system activities, chemical usage, and safety compliance.
• Handle hazardous waste management, system cleaning, and safety protocols.
• Build relationships with suppliers and contractors; order materials.
• Participate in safety committees; ensure OSHA and EPA standards compliance.
• Perform related duties requiring decision-making and problem-solving.
