Job summary

Element Resources LLC seeks an experienced Environmental Supervisor to lead plant hourly staff at the Forest City facility. You will ensure safe operations for baghouses, wastewater treatment, and lab analyses, while coordinating daily activities and training.

Strong communication and a focus on standard work underpin your leadership. You will drive safety culture, QA/QC, and compliance with OSHA/DOT rules, while advancing lean initiatives and 5S.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
• HS diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams, plan, and document training.
• Experience with safety regulations (OSHA/DOT) and 5S.
• Experience with MP2 a plus; Lean/Six Sigma exposure beneficial.
• Background in analytical chemistry in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, mentor and lead plant hourly employees for improved performance.
• Monitor and support safety culture using STOP and Gemba programs.
• Develop hourly employees and Production Supervisors through coaching.
• Complete documentation for training, actions, and rule violations.
• Maintain safe working conditions and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Audit standard work and ensure adherence across staff.
• Supervise environmental department activities and log sheets.
• Record incidences as they occur and manage Kaizen participation.
• Maintain 5S program in all work and office areas.
• Participate in lean Kaizen events and continuous improvement.
