Transamerica is seeking a Lead Treasury Analyst in the Cedar Rapids area to support accurate, well-controlled treasury operations across cash management, payments, and banking technology processes. The role requires strong treasury operations experience, business judgment, and proactive issue resolution with internal units, technology teams, and offshore staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business degree.
• 5-10 years relevant experience.
• Hold Certified Treasury Professional certification or obtain within a year of hire.
• Strong leadership skills and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance to treasury team and support issue resolution.
• Monitor short-term cash positions and funding needs.
• Manage cash activity across multi-currency accounts (USD, EUR, CAD, GBP).
• Oversee daily treasury operations including wire processing and controls.
• Troubleshoot complex treasury, banking, and file transmission issues.
• Lead treasury and banking projects with partners and offshore teams.
• Coordinate SOX processes, controls, testing, and audit requests.
• Oversee offshore team daily treasury functions and guidance.
• Lead testing and enhancement of treasury workstations and procedures.
• Drive process improvements and automation in treasury, including ISO 20022 changes.
• Demonstrate ownership and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
