Qualifikationen

• High school diploma; 5+ years of fire service training experience.
• ICS 100 and 200 training.
• IFSAC and/or Pro Board Firefighter I & II certification or equivalent.
• IFSAC and/or Pro Board Fire Instructor I certification within 1 year of hire.
• Two years of instructional experience (80 hours/year).
• IFSAC/Pro Board subject certifications as applicable.
• Physical ability to perform instructional tasks and evaluations.
• Preferred: Fire Instructor II, NFPA 1521 Safety Officer certification.
• Preferred: KFRTI KS Live Fire or related certifications, and a degree.

• Provide temporary assistance in research, projects, or program support.
• Deliver KFRTI training programs as lead or assistant instructor or safety officer.
• Coordinate with program coordinators and managers.
• Assist with grant-related tasks and reporting.
