The University of Kansas invites applications for a Temp Worker within the Center for Public Safety Leadership (CPSL). This role supports instruction and training for law enforcement leadership programs at KU, including graduate-level certificate offerings.

You will lead instructional activities for CPSL programs, develop curricula and learning objectives, and assist with program improvements. A bachelor’s degree and strong written communication skills are required; other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
• Effective written communications skills as evident in application materials.

Responsabilités

• 60% Responsible for instruction of officers in CPSL programs using diverse instructional methods and scenario-based training.
• 30% Responsible for curriculum development: learning objectives, lesson plans, and instructional materials and regular curriculum reviews.
• 10% Other duties as assigned.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree

Relevant field preferred (adult education, law enforcement)
