Job summary

Jobot seeks a skilled Lead Steel Erection Foreman to travel nationwide on major commercial projects. You will supervise structural steel, framing, and concrete formwork crews, reading blueprints and ensuring safety and quality on site.

This is a full-time role with frequent overtime on active projects and extensive travel across the country. Responsibilities include coordinating crews, managing production schedules, directing crane operations and rigging, and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in structural steel, commercial framing, or related work.
• Previous leadership experience managing multiple crews or field personnel.
• Strong blueprint reading and layout knowledge.
• Travel 100% for projects; overtime including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate crews performing structural steel erection, framing, wall installation, and concrete formwork.
• Read blueprints, perform layout, ensure plumb and per specifications.
• Direct crane operations, rigging, hoisting, and steel connections with safety focus.
• Manage daily production schedules, crew assignments, safety meetings, progress reporting, and timesheets.
