Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Transporter to oversee daily transport operations across the hospital campus. You will supervise transport staff, train on PATRA software and iPads, and ensure efficient workflow while maintaining patient safety and privacy during exams.
The role requires Basic Life Support and no travel. You will coordinate shifts, monitor performance metrics, and communicate with the Diagnostic Imaging Director to uphold patient satisfaction and safety

Lead Patient Transporter is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow and management of all the patient transporters. Lead patient transporter is responsible for the safe and expeditious transport of patients and supplies to and from locations throughout the hospital campus. Lead Patient Transporter is required to operate and maintain (cleanliness/safety) various types of patient transport devices such as beds, specialty chairs, stretchers and wheelchairs to include associated support equipment such as oxygen tanks, monitoring equipment, IV poles, IV pumps, bed inflation units and drainage tubing and containers and provide training and mentoring and equipment to transport staff. Lead Patient Transporter will provide these services following RHC Policy and Procedures. Lead Patient Transporter will participate in Quality Improvement process and adhere to the RHC standards of behavior.
