Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Lead Transporter for full-time first shift. The role coordinates daily activities of the hospital transport team and ensures safe, efficient movement of patients and equipment throughout the facility.

You will support staff training, monitor productivity, and help maintain safety standards. You will perform patient transport, assist with onboarding, manage staffing during shifts, and address workflow bottlenecks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Less than one year of related experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Must obtain BLS through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to coordinate staff workflow and communicate effectively with hospital departments.
  • Ability to safely transport patients and operate hospital transport equipment.

Summary

Lead Transporter - Full Time, First Shift

The Lead Transporter coordinates the daily activities of the hospital transport team while ensuring safe and efficient movement of patients and equipment throughout the facility.
