Job summary

Barton & Loguidice is seeking a Sr. Project or Managing-level Engineer to join the Transportation practice in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities include highway design, bridge/culvert projects, client communications, and coordinating with QC teams to deliver design plans and bidding documents. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 8–12+ years of transportation consulting experience, and a PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 8-12+ years of highway/bridge and transportation consulting experience.
• Licensed PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project oversight and delivery, preparation/review of plans and specifications, and client communications and meetings.
• Project coordination with quality control and oversight across related tasks.
• Provide conceptual input on the development of design projects.
• Prepare design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents.
• Provide quality control reviews of design.
• Possibility of field review of construction progress at milestones.
