Job summary

TERRA Engineering, Ltd. is seeking a senior civil engineer to lead design coordination across multidisciplinary teams and agencies. The role involves guiding complex analyses, code compliance, and preparation of comprehensive design documents for a range of project sizes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a BS in civil engineering (ABET/EAC-accredited), and preferably a PE with PTOE certification. The Milwaukee office supports hybrid work and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• B.S. in civil engineering (ABET/EAC-accredited).
• 8+ years of applicable engineering experience.
• PE preferred; PTOE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across team members, disciplines, and agencies.
• Perform complex analyses and design calculations; ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Prepare design documents: schematics, calculations, specifications, and utility coordination.
• Oversee project deliverables: plans, reports, cost estimates, commissioning docs.
• Mentor staff and participate in recruitment and candidate selection.
