Qualified candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.), a PE license, and 5+ years in transportation engineering, with proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads/GEOPAK/InRoads and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering and roadway design
• Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, GEOPAK and/or InRoads
• Experience planning, design, and permitting of transportation improvement projects
• Ability to write technical specifications and bid documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workflow
• Attention to detail and excellent time management

Responsibilities

• Perform transportation design for roadway, intersection, and corridor improvement projects
• Prepare engineering calculations, roadway plans, quantity estimates, technical reports, and construction documents
• Lead permitting efforts and coordinate with local and state transportation agencies
• Develop technical specifications and bid documents for transportation projects
• Manage and execute project tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery
• Perform construction administration activities including site visits and coordination with contractors
• Utilize MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, GEOPAK, and related design software to develop and refine transportation designs
