Job summary

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks a Professional Engineer – Lead to supervise transportation projects across multiple states.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and engage in client and proposal activities while ensuring high-quality design delivery. The role prioritizes collaboration, technical excellence, and leadership within our Surface Transportation Business Sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.).
• PE license, preferably Utah or eligible within 90 days.
• 5–15 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Ability to take small to medium projects from design to advertisement.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Utah DOT a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams on transportation projects for local agencies and State DOTs.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to deliver reports, studies, and drawings.
• Operate MicroStation/OpenRoads to produce alignments, models, and plans.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with project team.
• Support business development and client interactions; assist with proposals.
