Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure.
• Minimum 18 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with no more than 2 points.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving and be an organized record keeper.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Ability to use a phone app for mapping, submissions, tracking, timekeeping and electronic logs.

Responsibilities

• Approach work with a Continuous Improvement mindset and engage in Producers Dairy Mission.
• Own and promote a Safety Culture with a safe work environment and proper safety behavior.
• Interface with customers delivering superior customer service.
• On-call position with weekly plan updates based on department needs.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members for driver readiness.
• Train new transportation drivers on daily duties and refresher training and annual ride-alongs.
• Document completed driver training and communicate with Safety Supervision on department needs.
• Cover vacations and be available for staffing changes.
• Understand department goals and KPIs with daily promotion while training.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
