Job summary

US Foods is seeking a delivery driver to safely transport and deliver products to customers in Fresno, CA. You will unload merchandise using standard equipment, verify orders with customers, and collect payments when needed.

The role includes performing basic vehicle inspections and providing excellent client service. Requirements include a valid CDL Class A, DOT qualifications, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, and at least 6 months driving experience (or 3 months in food/beverage delivery).

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Must be 21+ with valid CDL Class A and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months’ commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food/beverage delivery.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet delivery times.
• Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and store properly.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Maintain customer service professionalism to enhance the client experience.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
