Job summary

Maola Local Dairies is seeking a Relief Route Sales Driver to cover open shifts across branches (excluding Newport News). The role trains new Route Sales Drivers and Shipping/Receiving staff, while modeling professionalism, punctuality, and strong customer service.

You will manage route knowledge, follow warehouse protocols, and coordinate coverage for illnesses or vacations. Candidates must hold a Class A or B CDL, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and bring customer service

Qualifications

Possess a Class A or Class B CDL.
High School Diploma, GED, or International Education Equivalent.
Customer Service or Sales experience is a plus.
Direct Store Delivery experience is a plus.
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

Provide on-the-job training for new Route Sales Drivers and Shipping/Receiving staff.
Set an example through appearance, punctuality, leadership and customer service.
Maintain familiarity with all routes, customers and warehouse protocols.
Stay informed of programs, policies, and product changes related to routes.
Fulfills coverage requirements during illnesses, vacations, or leaves and assists in other areas as needed.
