Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for the CSVT project in Snyder County. A structures and paving background is preferred. The TCIS will coordinate with contractors, engineers and job superintendents on plans, specs, materials and safety requirements.

The role includes daily reports, progress schedules, and reviewing shop drawings and quotations. May supervise inspectors and travel as needed to support project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or post secondary education; able to read, write and communicate in English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, and job superintendents on plans, specs, materials, equipment, methods and safety.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules.
• Check shop drawings and contractor quotations for variations.
• Maintain records of quantities and cost of materials; prepare progress payment claims.
• Possibly supervise a staff of inspectors.
• Travel as required and as directed by supervisor.
• Other duties commensurate with the position.
