Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor to join our Lancaster, PA team. This full-time role supports our Construction Engineering and Inspection Practice on PennDOT projects, highway and bridge work, with statewide opportunities.

The ideal candidate has extensive PennDOT inspection experience, strong leadership, and the required certifications. A minimum five years of field supervision is expected, with progression toward senior oversight

Qualifications

• Minimum PennDOT experience as TCIS-2 or higher with required certifications.
• Must have NICET Level IV certification or higher in Highway Construction.
• Three or more related PennDOT certifications preferred.
• Eight or more years in inspection supervision for highways/bridges.
• Twelve or more years of transportation inspection management experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction site work and verify conformance to plans.
• Take field measurements and perform calculations.
• Prepare inspection reports and ensure proper materials are used.
• Monitor compliance with specifications and special provisions.
• Provide supervision and perform other duties as assigned.
