TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor to join our team in Lancaster, PA.

This full-time role focuses on inspection of construction activities, field measurements, and ensuring adherence to plans and specs on PennDOT projects and statewide Pennsylvania work. The ideal candidate has extensive PennDOT experience with multiple required certifications, including NICET in Highway Construction, and a strong track record in supervision of

Qualifications

• Minimum PennDOT experience as Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS-2) or higher with three certifications: PENNDOT Concrete Technician Certification, NECEPT Field Technician Certification and NICET Level III Certification or higher in Highway Construction.
• One year minimum PennDOT experience as TCIS-2 or higher with NICET Level IV Certification in Highway Construction and either PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification or NECEPT Field Technician Certification.
• Three years minimum PennDOT experience as TCIS-1 or higher with two of the following: PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification, NECEPT Field Technician Certification, or NICET Level III Certification in Highway Construction.
• Eight years minimum transportation construction inspection supervision/management with PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification and NECEPT Field Certification OR NICET Level IV in Highway Construction.
• Twelve years minimum transportation inspection supervision/management experience acceptable to the Department.

Responsibilities

• Inspect various facets of work on the construction site.
• Take field measurements and perform calculations.
• Prepare relevant inspection reports.
• Verify that appropriate materials and construction processes are being used.
• Ensure that construction conforms to the project plans, specifications, and special provisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
