Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO, seeks a dedicated Transplant Pharmacist Specialist to lead our transplant program and serve as the sole transplant pharmacist specialist.

You will partner with nurse practitioners, transplant surgeons, and residents to optimize immunosuppression, provide medication management, and influence care decisions. This onsite role supports both acute and ambulatory transplant services, with a focus on education, leadership, and collaborative

Qualifications

• Two years experience or completion of PGY1 residency.
• Solid organ transplant experience required or PGY2 in transplant.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care in transplant specialty, including drug therapy optimization and patient counseling.
• Lead and participate in clinical pathways and protocols for transplant medications and safety.
• Educate pharmacy staff and residents; coordinate with transplant team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform drug utilization reviews and contribute to quality and financial outcomes.
