Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman Transmission to support construction, maintenance and repair of power transmission systems across multiple sites. The role may involve travel to other states based on customer needs and demands, and requires performing rigorous physical work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience is required.
• Able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License permit within 60 days of employment.
• A Commercial Driver's License is preferred.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to work at various locations and extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance or repair on energized/de-energized transmission lines.
• Lead crew in Foreman's absence and ensure safety compliance.
• Set poles and anchors; install and inspect systems.
• Troubleshoot transmission issues across locations.
• Read blueprints and apply hot line work procedures when needed.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and PPE; brief pre-job safety.
