Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Transmission Class B Lineman to perform construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission systems across various locations. The role requires traveling to different sites as needed, and operating with high voltage equipment safely.

The candidate must have field experience, be able to read blueprints, and be willing to work long hours, including weekends and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of field experience in transmission work.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on new construction, maintenance or repair of energized/de-energized transmission lines.
• String overhead wire and set poles/anchors.
• Troubleshoot transmission system issues and read blueprints.
• Operate and maintain line equipment and PPE.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces; perform heavy lifting.
