Job summary

Entergy seeks a Manager of Transmission Line Design in New Orleans, LA. The role provides leadership for engineering activities, including scoping, estimating, drawing development and design reviews.

You will coordinate with planning and operations, manage teams, and guide regulatory and industry interactions. The position requires extensive transmission engineering experience, supervisory skills, and strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of transmission line design practices, standards, procedures and processes.
• Experience in planning, project management, operations and/or construction.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills.
• Experience in managing/executing capital and/or O&M projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for transmission line design engineering activities.
• Oversee project scoping, estimating, design reviews and approvals.
• Lead root-cause analyses and industry collaboration on transmission issues.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and configuration management in designs.
