Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC/Project Managers from pre-construction through completion and warranty periods in Houston, TX. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, and subcontractors across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in construction-related field and 7 years of construction project management experience, with strong MS Office skills and experience in document control and project

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction industry required.

Responsibilities

Oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control and contracts on EPC/Construction/Program projects.
Manage day-to-day construction activities and multi-project execution.
Develop project plans, schedules, cost development, and critical objectives.
Develop client relationships for proposals and project items.
Coordinate RFPs, bid processes, and subcontractor contracts.
Review reports including budgeting, cash flow, and status with stakeholders.
Mentor interns and junior staff; manage field staffing and training.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
