Eversource in Manchester, NH is seeking a Senior Transmission Systems Planning Engineer to lead interconnection studies for DERs and data centers, using PSS®E, PSCAD, and related tools to assess feasibility and impact.

You will model inverter-based resources, coordinate with ISO-NE, prepare technical reports, mentor junior engineers, and support grid reliability and decarbonization initiatives.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power system engineering.
• Professional Engineer’s License preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform large-scale integration studies (DER, Data Centers) across CT, MA, NH.
• Conduct comprehensive power system impact studies for utility-scale DER and large Data Center interconnections.
• Model and analyze inverter-based resources and grid interactions (IEEE 1547, ISO-NE).
• Prepare clear technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
