Job summary

LTD Lane Transit District seeks a Planning Manager to lead a team of planners in long-range transportation planning, service planning, policy development, and interagency coordination. You will guide a broad portfolio, ensure compliance with federal/state requirements, and represent the district in regional forums.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years managing transit planning projects and a master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning, public administration, or related field.
• 3+ years transit project management experience or 5+ years public sector planning experience.
• 3+ years supervisory or team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of planners; manage workload and performance.
• Oversee long-range and service planning portfolios, coordinating with partners.
• Represent LTD in regional and statewide planning forums.
• Manage consultant contracts and grant administration.
• Prepare board materials and public-facing planning documents.
