City of Victoria is seeking a Traffic Signal Crew Leader to oversee installation and maintenance of intelligent traffic control equipment. You will lead technicians, manage work orders, and ensure timely response to service requests, while preventing future calls.

Responsibilities include inventory control, purchasing, scheduling, training, and safety compliance. Candidates must have an electrical background and a Texas CDL. The role requires physical work and possible on‑call duties.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of electrical or electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
• Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License within 6 months.
• Knowledge of electrical practices, materials, tools.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and work orders.
• Basic computer skills for programming traffic signals.

Responsabilidades

• Track inventory used in work orders and report adjustments to the department manager.
• Make purchases using city-issued credit card and manage expenses online.
• Lead worksite scheduling and oversee progress of field tasks.
• Lead assembly, installation, and repair of traffic detection systems and signal equipment.
• Train staff in installation, repair, and wiring practices.
• Create signal device troubleshooting and maintenance SOPs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on traffic signals and systems.
• Oversee contractors on installations of intelligent traffic devices.
• Maintain signal cabinet and luminaire circuits and records in workorder system.
• Respond to emergency calls during hours/standby.
