Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced transportation engineer to support development and delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will prepare and modify design calculations, reports, and plans, working with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions.

The role requires coordinating with clients, mentors junior staff, and ensuring quality within scope, schedule, and budget while delivering signalization, ITS, and TSM&O related design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work, and manage schedule/budget on projects.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of team’s work and guide members toward project objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects of projects with client counterpart and teaming partners.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
