Job summary
HNTB Corporation in Miami, FL seeks an ITS/engineering support professional to assist in planning, design, and delivery of Intelligent Transportation Systems and TSM&O projects. The role focuses on report preparation, quantity and cost estimates, and design-file administration.
Ideal candidates have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with FDOT ITS standards, and IMSA Traffic Signal Technician certification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree in Drafting with 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of related experience in lieu of education.
- Familiarity with FDOT ITS standards, specifications, and construction practices.
- Knowledge of ITS infrastructure, including devices, cabinets, communications, power, and related field systems.
- IMSA Traffic Signal Technician certified.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation or modification of reports, plans, and designs for ITS projects.
- Develop project quantity and cost estimates.
- Provide organization and administrative support of design files for engineering teams.
- Support planning, design, and delivery of ITS and TSM&O projects.
