Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations is seeking reliable Traffic Control Flaggers and Lead Flaggers to manage traffic through active construction zones in Northern Wisconsin. The team supports multiple sites and emphasizes safety, communication, and adherence to regulations.

Compensation aligns with union scales, and in-house training is provided. Lead flaggers gain leadership responsibilities with increased pay; candidates should be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather and possible overnight travel

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• MnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training).
• Previous flagging experience is a plus but not required.
• Lead flaggers must have 1-year verifiable experience in leading a flagging team.

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radios.
• Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.).
• Communicate clearly with crew members and the public.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditions.
• Follow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
