Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations is seeking reliable, safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers and Lead Flaggers for projects across Northern Wisconsin. You will control traffic through active construction zones, set up devices, and communicate clearly with crews and the public.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and strong attention to detail. MnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification is preferred; lead flaggers need 1 year of lead experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Excellent communication skills
• MnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training)
• Lead flaggers must have 1-year verifiable experience in leading a flagging team

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radios
• Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.)
• Communicate clearly with crew members and the public
• Remain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditions
• Follow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulations
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately
