Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Trade Compliance to perform jurisdiction and classification determinations under ITAR/EAR regulations. You will manage CJ/CCR/CCATs, support licensing, and drive training and governance across the enterprise.

The role requires extensive experience in export controls, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with engineering, procurement, and legal teams. Remote work options are available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of relevant experience, or 13 years if no degree.
• Graduate Degree preferred with 7+ years.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR jurisdiction and classification analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification reviews for export J/C and import HTS/Schedule B (ITAR/EAR) for US export controls.
• Manage CJ and CCR/CCATs processes with DDTC, DTSA, BIS.
• Provide export classifications to support licensing and international shipments.
• Oversee recordkeeping for jurisdiction and classification determinations.
• Lead design for export considerations with engineering teams.
• Chair the Trade Compliance Engineering Council and maintain minutes and materials.
• Support reporting and metrics on export/import activities across the enterprise.
