Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF, and DSP embedded computing solutions.

You will own strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle management, translating complex RF and DSP theory into real hardware and FPGA implementations while aligning with customer needs and business goals. The role collaborates with engineering, sales, and customers, delivering compelling product requirements, business cases, and NPI support from concept through launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics experience.
• Strong understanding of FPGA architectures, RF systems, and DSP.
• Understanding RF-to-digital signal chain, including RF front ends and DSP.
• Experience translating concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Experience with embedded software.
• Ability to evaluate system tradeoffs and manufacturability.
• Strong communication with engineering, sales, customers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within the overall product portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs, technology trends, competitive intelligence, and business objectives.
• Translate complex system-level requirements into compelling product specifications.
• Develop business cases for new products and present recommendations to executives.
• Lead product concept definition and support the NPI process from initial requirements through launch.
• Evaluate competitive products, technologies, architectures, and form factors.
• Manage product-line financial performance including revenue and costs.
• Partner with engineering to define requirements, differentiation, and priorities.
• Work with sales, customers, and partners to understand market needs and identify opportunities.
• Participate in customer engagements and provide technical support during discussions.
• Develop technical presentations, collateral, and training materials.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend lifecycle changes.
• Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Communicate complex RF, DSP, FPGA concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
