Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Tower Technician III to serve as the lead climber and primary technical resource on the crew, reporting to the Project Manager. The role focuses on installing antennas, performing advanced rigging, and conducting RF/fiber testing to meet exact specifications.

The position emphasizes safety, mentorship of junior technicians, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced field environment with travel and long hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• NWSA Tower Technician II Certification preferred.
• NWSA Antenna Line Specialty certification preferred.
• Advanced Rigger Specialty certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Upholds safety and PPE compliance on all jobs.
• Perform high-level installation of antennas, mounts, and fiber.
• Utilize advanced rigging techniques to move materials at height.
• Conduct RF testing (Sweep, PIM) and fiber testing per specs.
• Mentor Tower Technician I–Apprentice crew members.
