Zusammenfassung

Currier Plastics, Inc. is seeking a Tooling Engineer to lead design, build and qualification of production and prototype plastic injection molds. You will drive vendor coordination, reviews, and ensure molds meet specifications and quality standards.

You will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and tooling teams to optimize mold performance, support tooling trials, and maintain documentation and schedules for multiple projects.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of mold design principles.
• Analytical/troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail in design and documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).

Aufgaben

• Lead design, build and qualification of production and prototype molds.
• Obtain vendor quotes, review mold proposals and ensure performance.
• Maintain budgets and schedules for tooling projects.
• Create drawings, specifications and work instructions for tooling.
• Lead mold design reviews and support tooling trials and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with toolroom, scheduling and production teams.
