Job summary

Advanced Tooling Systems (ATS) is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for the day shift to coordinate with departments and produce dies to specifications. The role includes setting up and operating lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape parts, and verifying dimensions for conformance.

The candidate will study blueprints, lead die construction, perform test runs, and ensure safety while maintaining tools and calibration records in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Tool and Die Maker.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Diemaker Journeyman Status or Equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow the die from cradle to customer and oversee every aspect of the tool.
• Conduct test runs to ensure parts meet specifications and adjust as needed.
• Study blueprints and specifications to plan operations for tooling fabrication.
• Verify dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and gauge blocks.
• Lead die construction and try out.
• Maintain safety and keep the workspace clean.
