Job summary

Generac in Wisconsin is hiring a Tool and Die Maker to maintain, build, and repair tooling and dies, inspect equipment, and support production. The position runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will diagnose complex breakdowns, design and fabricate mechanical structures, mentor teammates, and coordinate with OEM vendors. A Journeyman Tool and Die Maker certification and 5+ years' experience are required; strong communication and problem

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in tool and die making and design.
• Certified Tool and Die Maker - Journeyman or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnose and repair complex equipment breakdowns.
• Suggest and implement improvements to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Perform safe operation of all equipment required for the role.
• Provide hands-on training for team members.
• Assist in designing, fabricating, and welding mechanical structures and guards.
• Provide technical support to project managers and engineers.
