Job summary

Vivvi, Inc. is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher for a 2-year-old classroom in New York City. This full-time role focuses on play-based learning, emergent and creative curricula, and social-emotional development, aligned with NYS standards.

You will observe and track progress with Teaching Strategies GOLD, build strong family partnerships, and maintain a safe, organized learning environment while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of preschool teaching experience.
• Experience in licensed childcare center or private preschool.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-year-old preschool classroom in a licensed childcare center.
• Design and deliver play-based and emergent curriculum experiences.
• Observe, assess, and track progress with Teaching Strategies GOLD.
• Build relationships with families and communicate progress.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching team on curriculum aligned with best practices.
• Guide routines and daily operations with professionalism.
