Job summary

The Carlisle Family YMCA is seeking a dedicated Young Toddler Lead Teacher for its classroom serving 1-year-olds and young 2-year-olds. The teacher will plan activities, assess children, and hold annual parent conferences in a warm, organized space.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with weekends and major holidays off. Compensation ranges from $14 to $17 per hour, dependent on degree and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2,500 hours of documented experience working with children
• Must be comfortable changing diapers daily
• Create weekly lesson plans and conduct child assessments
• Ability to lead parent/teacher conferences annually
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom

Responsibilities

• Lead planning for daily activities in the Young Toddler classroom
• Conduct child assessments and participate in annual parent-teacher conferences
• Decorate and organize the classroom to support learning
