LeafSpring Schools is seeking a Toddler Teacher to lead a nurturing preschool classroom, guiding children through hands-on learning, routines, and compassionate guidance in a high-quality program.

You will mentor assistant teachers, collaborate with families, and uphold Cognia standards, focusing on developmentally appropriate practices, early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• 1–2 years of classroom experience in licensed preschool/early childhood center
• Proven ability to lead classroom activities and routines
• Strong knowledge of child development and learning domains
• Effective communication with children, families and coworkers
• Love for young children and commitment to their growth

Responsibilities

• Promote preschool readiness, emotional intelligence, social skills; mentor assistants and collaborate with families
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Lead circle time, group activities, learning centers and transitions
• Maintain structured, engaging classroom environment aligned with Cognia standards
• Communicate with families through updates, conferences and events
