LeafSpring Schools is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to lead a nurturing preschool classroom. You will guide hands-on learning, routine structure, and compassionate support for young children, while mentoring assistant teachers and engaging families in learning and growth.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate practices, circle times, and strong teamwork within a Cognia-aligned environment. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 1–2 years of preschool experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of classroom experience in licensed preschool or early childhood center.
• Proven ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistency.
• Strong knowledge of child development, learning domains, and early intervention best practices.
• Effective communication with children, families, and coworkers.
• Love for young children and commitment to their growth and well-being.

Responsabilités

• Create and manage a classroom that promotes preschool readiness, emotional intelligence, and social skills; mentor assistants and work with families.
• Develop and implement lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices and individualized instruction.
• Lead circle time, group activities, learning centers, and transitions.
• Foster early academic skills including pre-literacy, numeracy, and language development.
• Maintain a structured, engaging environment aligned with standards; collaborate with Co-Teachers.
• Communicate with families daily; participate in family engagement events and school celebrations.
