Lead daily activities, inspire young minds, collaborate with a supportive team, and create a safe, inclusive classroom that supports each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed settings preferred.
• Completed state-required pre-service training.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families and staff.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans with Wonder of Learning.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Family Communication: Maintain open, positive communication with families.
• Health and Safety: Supervise activities to uphold safety and licensing standards.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training.
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe and document children's learning for families.
• Team Collaboration: Support assistants and teachers to foster a positive team.
• Behavior Guidance: Model positive guidance strategies for social-emotional growth.
