Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed setting.
• State-required pre-service training completed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning program.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive environment.
• Family Communication: Maintain open, positive communication with families about progress.
• Health and Safety: Supervise activities to uphold safety standards and licensing.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills.
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe and document children's learning to inform activities.
• Team Collaboration: Support Assistants and other staff.
• Behavior Guidance: Model positive guidance for social-emotional development.
