The Goddard School of Jackson Township, OH is seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher. We focus on a nurturing environment and developmentally appropriate curriculum through our Wonder of Learning program.

Lead daily activities, inspire young minds, and collaborate with a supportive team. Qualifications include a high school diploma; 1–2 years of experience with young children is preferred; CDA is a plus and pre-service training is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDA preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed setting recommended.
• State-required pre-service training completed or in progress.
• Develops relationships and communicates with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open communication with families about child progress and daily activities.
• Uphold health and safety standards and licensing requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document children's learning to inform activities.
• Collaborate with Assistant and Resource Teachers to support team.
